Drupalcon Washington DC 2009

Drupalcon Washington DC 2009 - Individual Sponsor

Well, tickets for the DC conference are open! And we've signed up one of our resources (me) to attend. We have also offered a minor sponsorship for the event, they call it "individual sponsor". Happy to help!

Here's the blurb from the conference website:

DrupalCon is the official Drupal unconference that attracts the most talented open source developers and innovative web shops in the world and brings them together to share knowledge, make decisions on the future of Drupal, and get to know each other in person.

DrupalCon is THE conference for Drupal developers, and it's coming to Washington, DC, March 4 – 7, 2009! For those new to the DrupalCons, this is a huge unconference for developers. It's a time for us to get together, learn from each other, trade ideas, make decisions, and build a stronger community.

Taniwha at Drupalcon Szeged

Drupalcon Szeged

We've arrived at the Drupal conference! Currently in the Drupal keynote talk, with Dries (Drupal founder) and Rasmus (PHP founder). More news as it comes to hand.

Taniwha going to Drupalcon Szeged

Drupalcon Szeged

Taniwha Solutions will be sending two people to the next Drupalcon in Szeged, Hungary. This should be another exciting opportunity to meet fellow community members, talk about the future of Drupal, and write some new code! Of course, there's a full schedule, but as I do more of these things, I'm learning that the real action is not at the sessions, but elsewhere!

Drupalcon Szeged 2008 Registration Now Open

Drupalcon Szeged

Nine weeks to Drupalcon Szeged - and registration is now open. See http://szeged2008.drupalcon.org/ for details.

Taniwha is sending two of it's staff to Szeged, Hungary, to catch up with the latest and greatest in the Drupal community, renew relationships with other Drupal people, and generally have a good time. If you're in the neighborhood, come along!

Drupalcon Boston 2008

DrupalCon Boston 2008

Bother. I'm not going to be able to get to the Drupalcon in Boston this year! I already booked my rather expensive tickets for Superbikes at Phillip Island which is the weekend before the con, and the Classic Car Racing the weekend after. And my Dad is flying in for both, so I can't just stand him up either. :(

Melbourne Drupal Mini-Conference

Well, the mini-con went off very well! I got to meet around 40 Drupal-interested people, from a wide variety of backgrounds. The presentations seemed to go off well, but I'm afraid mine ran far too long! Sorry!

Congrats to Sime and Caitlin from emspace and Gordon from Lonely Planet for co-sponsoring the event with Taniwha. Especially the former who organised everything.

Attached is the presentation I made at the conference (way too long) - I think it'll be on the conference page too.

Barcelona 2007

DrupalBarcelona-2007

Tickets are all confirmed, we're going to Barcelona. Yay! Conveniently enough, MotoGP is on the weekend before in Estoril, Portugal, so I'm going a week early, and taking in that too! Wahoo!
